Sasha Borshev is a mixed media artist working in Cleveland, Ohio. Inspired by the natural and spontaneous human experience, she designs characters, portraits, environments, and creatures in their most candid moments, as well as the abstract. Borshev works both digitally and traditionally with oil painting, charcoal, and black ballpoint pen drawing, as well as digital still life and portrait photography.  In addition, she writes and illustrates comics and graphic novels with narratives rooted in themes of humor, love, found family, disability, addiction, and grief.
